
An Evening with Nobelity and Filmmaker Turk Pipkin
Join producer Turk Pipkin as he shares experiences and personally hosts screenings of his new documentary titled “Nobelity.” This feature-length film looks at the world`s most pressing problems through the eyes of nine Nobel laureates Filmed across the U.S. and Europe, in India and Africa, Nobelity follows Turk Pipkin`s personal journey in learning about these problems and what we can do about them. The true stars of this film are the children that Turk met along the way, for it is our children who will be most effected by the decisions and actions of today. Screenings may be followed with Q&A. Turk is also available to speak with students and community groups on behalf of The Nobelity Project and The Nobelity In Schools Program.

The Nobelity in Schools Program seeks to bring the insights of the Nobel laureates and other valuable information to classrooms across the nation and around the world. Because of the scope of issues discussed in Nobelity, the film has provided inspiration and a basis for further study in diverse subjects, including social studies and political sciences, general and environmental sciences, health, ethics, humanities, government and economics. Nobelity in Schools helps to motivate young people and engage them in the critical issues that will shape their own futures.
