John Holod is an internationally recognized cinematographer who has filmed all over the world and presented his documentaries to audiences across the nation. John travels in a state of the art recreational vehicle, immersing himself in the culture and surroundings he’s depicting. The RV serves as home and studio while he is on the road. Documentaries produced by Holod include his 4000 mile US-Canadian border trek, travels through Baja, Cuba, Czech Republic, Slovakia and a 1500 mile journey along the Alaska Highway. John has lectured at such prestigious venues as the National Geographic Society, the Carnegie Institute, Cal Tech and the Franklin Institute.

Before embarking on his life as a professional world traveler and adventurer, John studied cinematography, journalism and photography at Wayne State University in Michigan. Now he spends most of the year on the road producing documentaries and presenting them to audiences around the country.

John began filming at age 11, shooting his first film from the back of his father’s motorcycle en route to the 1964 world’s fair in New York.

Jodie Ginter is co-producer of John Holod Productions. Before her life on the road she worked in Christian Education and Youth Ministry.

A native of Hilton, New York, Jodie attended Roberts Wesleyan College in Chili, NY and did seminary training at the Methodist Theological School in Delaware, Ohio.

Jodie and John travel in a state of the art recreational vehicle, immersing themselves in the culture and surroundings they are depicting. The RV serves as home and studio while they are on the road.

Jodie has always had a passion for photography and the outdoors. Her love of fishing is what brought her and John together, beginning her life of adventure and travel.
