Robin Williams was born in London, England to American parents who were world travelers, lecturers and photographers. His father wrote “The World My Oyster” and “Up The Other Sleeve” and was the first American to enter Afghanistan by walking through the Khyber Pass.
Robin has been producing films since 1967 and he has appeared regularly for the National Geographic Film Lecture Series. A boundless fascination for ancient and modern history and its characters has moved Robin to produce his feature documentaries.
